The Quiet Intelligence of Moss
How one of Earth's oldest plants is teaching us about resilience, slowness, and biological design.

Moss has survived four mass extinctions. It predates flowers, predates trees, predates almost every form of life we consider familiar. And yet, in a modern interior, a single panel of preserved moss can feel like the most contemporary object in the room.
At Neiro.Farm we work with cushion moss, reindeer moss, and flat moss — each stabilized through a low-impact glycerin process that preserves color and texture for years without water or light. The result is a living-looking surface that asks nothing of you.
We believe biophilic design works best when it disappears into the architecture. Moss is the medium that lets it do so.
